Both Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas have made sufficient recoveries from their injuries. They have now been deemed fit to Race by the FIA after passing all necessary medical tests.
Alonso will be back, but he certainly has his work cut out for him. The McLaren qualified on the last row in Australia, and only one of their 2 cars finished. Jenson Button being the one that did finish, but he only made it to 11th place. Eleventh place might not sound that bad, however, when taking into consideration all the retirements, it was the last place of all the finishing cars for the Australian Grand Prix.
Bottas on the other hand will be returning to a car that is capable of getting him on the podium in Malaysia.
